It also seems to insulate it a bit to keep it cold. When cutting, you can use the foil to life the edges a bit to get the first pieces out. <BR/><BR/>I would think that if you keep it tightly wrapped, it would keep up to a week in the freezer. Believe me though, it won't last that long! I don't know if it would serve 9 adults and 6 kids..they'd have to be small pieces!
